Finnish economy creates demand for Helsinki office space
With Finland's economy and property market having showed
relative resilience, Catella says the country is now ideally positioned to take
full advantage of a global economic recovery. Finland's gross domestic product
(CDP) rose 1.5% in 2003, compared with an average 0.8% increase for the European
Union, according to Catella.   LUXEMBOURG,
HELSINKI, ZURICH RANK AT TOP OF QUALITY-OF-LIFE SURVEY Luxembourg
ranks as the world’s top city for personal safety and security, according to a
quality-of-life survey by Mercer human resource Consulting. the city scores 122.5
followed by helsinki, Bern, geneva, and Zurich, which tie for second with scores
of 120       (Washington)
- The leadership of the U.S. Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe,
(the U.S. Helsinki Commission), expressed disappointment today at the nine-year
long prison sentence meted out to Russian oil magnate Mikhail Khodorkovsky by
a court in Moscow. The prosecution had sought the maximum ten- year sentence.
